3. Please tell us about the items in your Etsy shop. What do you make? How did you learn your craft? What is involved in your creative process?
I make handcrafted jewelry using semi-precious gemstones. Having always been a creative person, I was looking for a new outlet for creativity. I would see jewelry and think "Oh, I would like that but just a bit different," and it went off from there. I was creating and sending necklaces, earrings, bracelets to family and friends until my family said "you love doing this, make a go of it." So Lyn & Lee was born. As far as my creative process, it is dependent on the mood for that day. I do follow trends and such, but I like to make pieces that I feel are interesting and unusual so my process does change frequently.
4. Tell us two (or more) other interesting things about you.
I love playing pool; in college I went to State Tourneys in billiards.
My ideal house would have a giant yard for all of the animals I would like to have.
I am left handed.
5. How did you get involved with Etsy?
I had purchased from Etsy in the past and have always loved the variety of things available and loved what it stood for. When I started Lyn & Lee, Etsy seemed to be the perfect fit.
6. What is your favorite item in your shop (currently for sale or previously sold)? Why is it your favorite?
I love the sparkle in the stones, it light-hearted and fun!
7. If you had a gift certificate to Etsy for any one item you wanted, what would you buy?
8. If money were no object for just one day, what would you do?
I would go visit family in the U.K. and bring my friends and family from the states with me
9. What is the craziest gift you have ever received?
Zebra striped leggings
10. What does buying and selling local handmade mean to you, and how has it affected your life?
With handmade items there always is a story to go along with it. How someone felt when they bought it, how the artist felt when they made it and even if the story isn’t stated it is always there and I feel that makes handmade items that more special.
11. Where else can we find out more about you and/or your creations?
