Tuestorials: Slim Business Card Holders

The one thing you can’t forget when you are out and about is business cards! Especially during craft fairs and SF Etsy meet-ups, you should be prepared to pass out your cards to those who are interested.

During a recent crafty night meet-up with Katy, we created two sizes of business card holders (one for Moo mini cards and one for standard sized cards). This tutorial will show you how to make a fast and cute one!

Materials:
• Thick vinyl or upholstery fabric
• Embroidery thread
• Needle
• Scissors
• Your business card (for measurement)

Step 1:
Select the material you would like to use and cut two pieces in your business card size.

Step 2:
For the front piece, cut a semi-oval shape on the top. This will make it easier to pull out your business card when it is complete.

Front piece complete!

Step 3:
Put the two bad sides together and, with the embroidery thread, sew around the edges. You can do a running, split, or blanket stitch. To hide the knot, start your stitch between the two layers of materials.

Standard and Mini sizes!
Step 4:
You’re done! Fill with your business cards and drop in your purse or pocket.
You can also add fun details to your holder to make it a conversation piece!

Googly eyes on the horizon...

Dazzle it up to make it a fun accessory!
