North Beach Festival - SF's Oldest Street Festival

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with San Francisco County Commissioner Kathleen Dooley. She is on the committee to revitalize and enhance the experience of the North Beach Street Festival . The North Beach Festival is the city's oldest and largest street fair. With new food trucks, live music and local artists, they are expecting over 100,000 visitors over the weekend of June 14th & 15th, 2014.

One of the things they are doing this year is to offer San Francisco makers / artists the opportunity to snag a booth at the festival for a discount. There are two options for vending at the festival. You can get your own 10x10 space, or be part of "the tent of SF makers." Here are the details:

The North Beach Business Association is offering two types of discounts:

  • A Marketplace for small artists and makers, there will be 16 of these spaces together. We will have our Etsy and SFEtsy signage up. The marketplace will have 16 4x4 tables in a tented 10x40 space at $150 for the two days.
  • a $200 discount on 10x10 booths for the first 25 San Francisco based applicants. The price will be $400 for two days - June 14/15. To apply for a booth, download the PDF and apply for a booth for our Festival, noting that they have been approved by the NBBA to receive the discount.
I've uploaded the link to the PDF to DropBox. You can access it by clicking this link. All applications must be postmarked by March 29th. I look forward to seeing some of you there!
