But before you do that check out my Q&A with the girl behind it all Jennifer:

1) Tell us about your product and where you get your inspiration.
Ever since I can remember I've always kept my hands busy. I've done and tried numerous crafts. When i was younger I tried my hand and crocheting and knitting and just couldn't grasp the concept. In my late 20's I finally told myself that I was going to learn. The rest is history. Crocheting and knitting have become an addiction for me. It's a calm and relaxing time for me (for the most part). I love using and discovering all the different fibers. It's amazing the different blends that are out there. It's amazing to see that I can make wearable with my own two hands from just yarn and hooks/needles. I'm just beginning to start designing some of my own items. It's definitely a challenge but so rewarding. My items are handmade with my 2 hands. Every item I make I ask myself is this something that I wear? I'm very critical of my own work which is a good and bad thing in itself. My crochet/knit items are my main focus in my shop but I also sell handmade cards and papercrafts.

2) How did you get involved with etsy?
I heard about etsy from my friends. Friends and family have always told me they loved my items and that i should try and sell them. I signed up for etsy about 8 months before I opened my shop. At that time I wasn't really prepared to try selling so I spent my time browsing around. Then around the end of August I opened and slowly started adding items. I must say it's been quite a challenge. From the harsh criticism to the slow months it's been very taxing mentally. I've finally just learned to take things not so personally and just keep on doing what I'm doing. Etsy has opened up a new world for me and I love it.

3) Do you sell your work in any bay area stores?
Currently I am not selling in any bay area stores. I'd love to have either my crochet/knit items or my handmade cards to be sold in stores, but at this point of time I'm not actively pursing this idea. Of course if something comes my way I'll be open to it.

4) When you're not creating what are you doing?
Spare time for me is at night time when my little ones are asleep. I work full time and have 2 young daughters ages 5 and 13. When they go to sleep it's my time. There's so much I love to do in my spare time. When the creative mood strikes I'll make handmade cards or some type of papercraft. I love browsing the internet. When I can i love to read! I currently am reading 2 different books right now, The Pillars of the Earth and The Other Boleyn Girl. Then my last awful free time sucker is playing World of Warcraft Online. It's a wonder I have time to sleep.
