More about Julie's Coffee and Tea Garden in Alameda
Julie's pathway into the world of tea and coffee began with her love of herbs. Starting in the western hills of Sonoma County, California in 1990, she raised aromatic and tonic herbs and flowers, which she sold at local farmers’ markets. In 1995 Julie hooked up with the groovy folks at Taylor Maid Gardens and was given the wonderful opportunity to create the tea division of Taylor Maid Farms Organic Coffee & Tea. After spending the past 10 years in wholesale, Julie yearned to serve her customers face to face and create a soothing space for the community to share and learn.

Patrons can drink a soothing pot of tea in the garden surrounded by aromatic plants…or sink into a stuffed chair sipping on a custom brew of freshly ground organic coffee. The scents of ginger scones and lavender lemonade drift in, and they know this is no ordinary cafe.
