Meet and Make-crafting some fun rings!

Having a girl's night out is always nice (especially with a little toddler at home!), but it's even more fun learning how to make something new, which is what happens at our Meet and Make craft night on Friday.
Jenn of Mama's Magic Studio, Eko of Eko Jewelry Design, and one of our new members, Jeannine of Tangleweeds Handmade Jewelry all came out to play with wire and beads at Knit-One-One Studio in Berkley from 7-9:30.

Everyone brought a snack, which we munched on in the beginning while getting to know each other and talking about Etsy, our wonderful SF Etsy team, and a bit about our lives in general. About 1/2 into our discussion we got out our tools and various beads and started wrapping the rings.
I was so amazed at the differences in everyone's rings! Jeannine used light colored, wooden beads on copper wire that was formed into a flower shape, Eko used
pink Swarovski crystals on silver, and Jenn used different sizes of black beads on silver. I loved each one of them!
I had a blast teaching the class of eager jewelry artists and hope that these classes are continued with other crafters on our team (I would love to learn how to knit, if anyone is interested in teaching a class... I'm a lefty BTW... lol)
Signing off for now. Have a great night Everyone! ~Ros www.scottishlilyjewelry.etsy.com
