SF Etsy Panel Discussion at the Santa Clara Library

This past weekend, the Santa Clara City Library hosted SF Etsy for a panel discussion about selling on Etsy!
Library + SF Etsy = Awesome! Back row, from left to right: Library folks Alexis, Morgan, and Katie, SF Etsy's Hilary of A Slice of Delight, Co-captain Katy of Katy Atchison  Illustrations and Art , Amanda of Ms. Amanda Jayne, Library event coordinator Angela, and Rebecca of Oodle Ba Doodle. Front row in blue, yours truly, Jen of Mama's Magic Studio.

The event was "Conversations with the san Francisco Bay Area Etsy Team" and it was part of the library's small business education programming.

More than 50 people came to learn more about the Etsy experience! The audience was engaged, enthusiastic, and full of questions.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to talk about Etsy and running a handcraft business. It was great to be part of a panel that included such experienced and insightful crafters! When Angela approached me about putting together this event, I knew we'd have lots of experience to draw upon in putting together the panel. I think the participants learned a lot -- they were asking when we'd do more events like this, which is always a good sign!

Many thanks to the other SF Etsy members who took time out of their busy schedules to be part of this event: Co-captain Katy of Katy Atchison  Illustrations and Art ,Hilary of A Slice of Delight, , Amanda of Ms. Amanda Jayne, and Rebecca of Oodle Ba Doodle. And big thanks to Angela and the other library folks for putting on such a successful panel discussion!

Neat event! Pretty cool, and very impressive turnout, too. This is really great to see, especially at community facility -- like the library.
