We're in the business of loving and learning crafts

At least, I am. Jewelry is what I actually ended up settling upon after dabbling in ceramics, scrapbooking, and a bit of woodworking in school, but I still LOVE to learn new crafts!

This is why I'm super excited to go to Craft Bar with Etsy Labs tomorrow from 6-9PM where the theme is jewelry (woo hoo!). You can learn how to make a felt bib necklace with Katherine Coleman from KJC Designs or make a wire wrapped ring with Kelly Ball from Realia to name a few... Oh and did I mention that there are going to be cupcakes?!?! I'm so there!

New crafts & new friends are a perfect start to the new year!

WHAT: Craft Bar with Etsy Labs - Free Crafting with $5 admission to the Museum
WHEN: Thursday, 6 January, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM
WHERE: Museum of Craft and Folk Art aka MOCFA, Downtown SF (for directions, click here)
WHY: Enjoy cupcakes and tasty spreads from Stephanie Bushnell of Sweets la Petite (Steph from nerd JERK personally vouches for her AMAZING culinary skills, so come hungry!). Drinks will kindly be provided by Trumer Pils.

Don't worry if you can't make it tomorrow (it can be tough to get out on a weekday, after all), a webcam will be set up so you can still learn how to make the beautiful jewelry... now if only we could figure out how to get you those cupcakes...
