First Team Twitter Chat!

As promised, the Team Twitter Chat is here! As Genevieve said in her last post, we've sorted out all the details so I'm here to tell you when and where and how to get involved!

The first chat will happen on March 13th (this Tuesday!) at 10.00am PST and they'll continue every Tuesday after that.

Every week we will choose a topic to discuss (something team members will find useful) and I'll be letting you know, the Friday before, right here, what the topic will be.

This week's topic:
To get us started we'll be getting people to introduce themselves and then we'll be discussing ways in which Tweet Chats can be useful and how we can get the most out of them.

How do I get involved?
Just in case you missed the previous posts explaining how to join in, I'll summarise here. There are 2 options:

TweetChat.com
Go to http://tweetchat.com/room/sfetsy and sign in to your twitter account there. You can follow the conversation there and any tweet you post from there will have the #SFEtsy tag added automatically.

Twitter, Tweetdeck or other Twitter App:
Sign in to Twitter on whatever platform you're used to (may not work with all apps) and search for #SFEtsy. Just remember to type #SFEtsy somewhere in any tweets you send so the group will be able to see them without needing to follow you.

Can I talk about what I want?
The conversation within a tweet chat should flow naturally, as it would if you were talking to people face to face, so small deviations from the topic are fine.

If there is a completely different topic you wish to discuss you can add it to our spreadsheet and we'll schedule it in for a future chat session. Members can also vote there for the topics they'd like to see covered.

If you want more guidance, check out this post written by Genevieve or tweet your questions to @embergrass (me)

See you there!

If you're an Etsy seller in the San Francisco Bay Area, contact Katy or Steph about joining SFEtsy!
