This week our topic is a very contentious one - pricing! With no hard and fast rules and plenty of opinions, this is such a difficult subject for a handmade artist!
We'll be talking about how we each approach pricing - what formula or strategy (if any) we use to calculate those numbers. We'll also be discussing the difference between pricing for business and pricing for hobby and whether your prices are wholesale-proof. We may also touch on how your prices affect/are affected by other sellers and if you should care.
No pricing conversation would be complete without a discussion of sales - how often to hold them, how much to discount and who to offer them to!
